Dr. Keith LaVallie is a distinguished leader with deep roots in Indigenous communities. As Vice President of Indigenous Strategy Alliance, he brings 28 years of invaluable experience working with Indigenous organizations across North America (Canada/United States) to the organization.

A proud enrolled citizen of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indian, Dr. LaVallie holds a doctorate in Leadership and Administration, with peer-reviewed research focusing on effective interventions for Indigenous populations. His extensive background includes 17 years of senior leadership experience, including significant human resources management, coupled with over a decade of hands-on operational experience.

Dr. LaVallie's expertise spans strategic planning, organizational development, and leadership in Indigenous contexts. His approach emphasizes culturally responsive practices, building resiliency, and creating collaborative opportunities to improve outcomes for Indigenous communities. His human resources experience includes hiring, recruiting, retention strategies, and developing mentorship programs.
